A step back in time to a slower pace of life.
A wonderfully restored historic cottage with all mod cons- even a coffee machine! Tasteful recreation of the shop shelves. Be sure to read about the building’s history and explore the surrounding properties in the town.
We loved it but don’t expect a modern air bnb. Be sure to bring supplies as the IGA is being renovated and the pub only serves meals on the weekends.

Cozy and had lots of period features .
Cozy and had lots of original features of the cottage.
Lightening in bathroom was poor and the fan was so loud and broken. Does need some maintenance. The floor was drafty ..

Historical cottage was exceptional. Very clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable.
The cottage was exceptionally clean and tidy. It had all amenities and we loved how the cottage still retained the historical aspect. Would highly recommend it and we will definitely stay there again.
Would recommend the heater be turned on prior to guests arriving The weather was bitterly cold and the cottage was very cold. Mind you the heater warmed it up rather quickly and we closed the second bedroom door.
