    Very comfortable rental for a family and location is good if you want to explore the area from Kure Beach to Wilmington.

    Kitchen was very well stocked, plenty towels, etc. and great cabinet of games and toys for the family. King size beds in 2 rooms were nice.

    Back yard was damp with the heavy rain we had on 2 nights.

    Home Away From Home!

    The home was beautifully decorated inside and out. We immediately felt right at home. It was warm and inviting and contained all the creature comforts needed for relaxing and to have an enjoyable family vacation. The owners were very friendly, pleasant, and attentive.

    Well-equipped base for beach days, good for groups or families with kids

    Efficient layout made it feel bigger than it is. Indoor and outdoor seating areas thoughtfully appointed with everything you could want. Kitchen really well stocked. Lots of games and toys for kids, as well as a playset in the backyard. Lots of beds so it works for two families vacationing together. It is a 20 minute drive to several beautiful white sand beaches. So best of all was the great beach stuff (including beach mats, chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, volleyball and football, beach umbrella, beach towels, cooler bag and a beach wagon to carry it all). There is even sunscreen in case you forgot your own. All of the thoughtful touches made our very short beach vacation a delight. We had everything we could possibly want or need. Also our hosts were very accommodating and responsive. I would definitely return if I had the chance.

    A flexi-hose in the shower would be nice. A third bathroom or powder room would make it perfect, but we managed totally fine with just the two.
