    Peaceful location but close to civilization

    Peaceful rural location but not far off main road, and only 5 minute car journey to nearest town. Ideal for exploring this side of Dartmoor. Spacious cottage for only two people: we had our own patio and enclosed garden.

    TV was old fashioned with no TV guide. Not of high importance, but the empty jars of tea, coffee, sugar were not very welcoming (other places have provided a small amount, plus a bit of foil etc in the kitchen, or a dog bowl outside: small touches...)

    Lovely setting compact and cosy.

    The setting and views are lovely. The cottage is compact and comfortable. Drakes field is nearby in Tavistock and is great for excersing your dog off lead.

    The access lane is very narrow. It was difficult to walk straight from the cottage without using the lane which leads out onto a busy road.
