    Disappointed and not recommending SMDC stay for family trips.

    Room 544 needs renovation, while Room 1506 is in acceptable condition and offers a pleasant view overlooking the pool area. The caretaker requested an additional ₱1,000 for an extra child. Separate charges of per person also apply for the use of the basketball court and ₱150/head for the use of swimming pool (you can smell the very strong chlorine and no lifeguards on duty, swim at your own risk). Additionally, an overnight parking fee of ₱500 was charged for the period from 4:00 PM to 12:00 noon. These additional charges were unexpected and caused some inconvenience to the guests, highlighting the need for clearer communication regarding fees before booking or arrival. Furthermore, the extra single mattresses provided had no covers and appeared to have been used by previous guests. They were placed directly on the floor without protective covers or proper platforms. This arrangement was uncomfortable and unhygienic, particularly because the floor was too cold for guests to sleep on comfortably. Overall, these concerns highlight the need for room renovations, improved cleanliness and preparation of extra bedding, and greater transparency regarding additional charges. Addressing these issues would help ensure a more comfortable, convenient, and satisfactory experience for future guests. No wifi.
