Not what I had hoped for
The barn was in a lovely location, relatively easy to find and gaining the keys was very straightforward. The barn is right next door to the house and the other barn with little room for parking. My little car was OK but it might be hard with a bigger car. The barn was very small, smaller than I expected, but had everything you needed - fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle, etc, and lovely wooden beams in the ceiling. The bathroom was tiny and quite hard to shower in. The most disappointing thing was how dirty it felt. There were cobwebs everywhere, old and covered in dust. I appreciate it is not possible to clean high beams, but there were cobwebs over the easy to reach beams, kitchen counter, photo frames, clothes rack, etc. When I plugged in my phone next to the bedside table, my hand was covered in cobwebs. It felt grimy and uncared for. There were no curtains, only blinds on the front windows and nothing at all on the upper windows so it was not easy sleeping for someone who likes the dark. I stayed for 4 nights and the second night there was a loud party at the house next door, with guys screaming and roaring - so much so that I googled to see if there was a sports venue nearby but it looked residential. It started about 8pm, roaring, then music, then more roaring and screaming until 1am. The third day, the owners had friends over in their garden, but due to just how close the barn is, it felt like I was in the garden with them as I could hear them clearly which was not restful for me. On the fourth night, someone was revving a car loudly over and over and screeching up and down the road between midnight and 1am. I did not find my stay to be relaxing and it was not useful for work either as the internet regularly cut out and I gave up using it at all after the second day as it was off more than it was on. I was only advised that the internet was temperamental after I had booked - it would have been useful to know this beforehand.

Cosy in a great location
I loved the cosyness of the property, the robes and milk in the fridge for a cuppa after a long drive was a nice touch, the location was great, being so close to the train station that we could get a train into London for the day, but also Windsor is a sweet little town to explore. It was also nice to spot a cow in the field right next to our cabin, nice little surprise
The only thing was the mattress was a little un comfy, for 3 nights it was fine but for a week I may have struggled. I would definitely stay again though !

It has everything you need and is as described
The parking is tight. Better to take the time to reverse into the space to make it easier to get out when the gate opens
