We liked all the time we spent at Windy Harbour Farm and Country Inn! From one of the staff, Judy, having the door open ready for us, when we were walking up to the entrance, to a wonderful breakfast the next morning, made by Chris and served by Lee. The in-between times were just great! When we arrived it was quite busy, as they were hosting a funeral tea, but we were also taken notice of throughout that function. Our room was so lovely and cosy with absolutely wonderful views all around. It was well equipped, the bed very comfy, very quiet and a really good shower. We had to order our food for the evening meal and breakfast beforehand and were promptly brought the menus. It was quite a hard choice for me, as I do not eat meat, but there was enough for me to choose from, it was very hard to choose! We had the bruchetta to share as a starter, yummy! I went for the cheese pie with chips instead of the mash, what a good choice, it was delicious! Hubby had the gammon and said it was fab. I do not usually have a desert, but had the crème brulae with some slightly sour cherries, they complimented each other. Hubby had the apple pie. Breakfast was lovely, everything we had ordered was there, as well as a nice choice of cereals, fruits, yoghurts etc. Quite sad to leave, we wish we had booked another night! We will return at some point in the future, as there looks to be some good walks around the inn. Also to see Boo the pug! She was so friendly like everyone there was!

Well, only that we couldn't stay another night!

Beautiful location. Lovely food. The room had everything we needed. Staff were really friendly and the dog was gorgeous.

Absolutely faultless really. We stayed for one night only but would definitely use this place as a base for exploration again.
