    Lovely room. Loads of space. Breakfast was very nice indeed. Staff friendly

    Shower was either boiling on first night or freezing the next day. At check out the lady on reception seemed to imply there was a known fault, but that doesn't help me at the time of the shower.

    Fabulous Little Break.

    Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff could not be more attentive if they tried. They looked after us so well. We had a dog with us, and could not go in certain areas, so they accommodated us in every way they could. If we sat outside, in the sheltered area we were supplied with throws , heaters, and hot water bottles. It really was a very nice experience. Because of our dog, we could only stay in a room that had a balcony, but that added to the enjoyment as it was quite and sunny 🌞. The grounds are beautiful, and fabulous for walking the dog. Colchester is a stones throw away, so it is a terrific location too.

    Clean ,most staff were lovely

    The view n room was nice

    The balcony was not secure you could go through to the other rooms balcony because the door was broken .
