The staff were friendly. The pool area was a nice facility.

The room was very dusty and not immaculately clean. The walls were paper thin.

    Attention to detail is lacking

The spa facilities were good. Pool, saunas etc we enjoyed. I also had a massage with Kayliegh, which was fab

General cleanliness was dire. Attention to detail leaves a lot to be desired. Restaurant , food OK but lacked atmosphere. The cleaner came in on wrong day(said she came to wrong lodge). We asked what time checkout was, and was told 11, on day of checkout, the cleaner came at 10.30, and basically told us off, as checkout is 10 !! When we arrived we had to clear crisps and roll up filters out from between sofa cushions, feathers from a boa and bra straps from the wardrobe. There were sequins on carpet and generally not too clean. Couldn't use the bath even if I wanted , it was dirty, and a bra strap in there too !!! Linen and towels were very clean thank goodness!!! The bathroom mirror light couldn't turn off, and extremely bright at night, so couldn't sleep in en suite room

Lovely relaxing stay at a beautiful place with friendly staff

We were celebrating my 70th birthday. The staff were so lovely. The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and hot. The swimming pool was really relaxing as was the jacuzzi. We also enjoyed the sauna and steam room.

There was a long wait for the evening meal even though we had pre ordered it. We booked for 8 and it was after 9 when the food arrived.
