Gemischte Gefühle:tolle Gamedrives,ansonsten verbesserungsfähig
Die Game Drives mit Zaan waren super, informativ, lustig, kundeorientiert! Die Lage im Amakhala Game Reserve: gut 1. Tag: sehr gutes Abendessen, toller Kellner
1. Sauberheit: auf unserm Bettzeug waren Flecken als wir eingecheckt haben. 2. Als wir ankamen, lagen schon verschiedene tote Insekten im Zimmer! 3. Wir waren 2 Nächte dort: am 2. Tag nach dem Housekeeping Service , lagen noch immer die gleichen Insekten da d.h. es wurde weder gestaubsaugt noch feucht gewischt… 4. 2. Tag: Abendessen als Buffet Eir waren die 2 letzten Gäste am Buffet: leider war da schon praktisch kein Gemüse mehr da und es wurde auch nichts nachgefüllt!! Morgens bei der Abreise wollte ich die Conservation Fee bezahlen. Eährend 15 Minuten versuchte der Manager eine Internetleitung zu aktivieren, um uns dann zu sagen, es wäre nicht möglich… eir hatten 7 Stunden Fahrt vor uns, und es war also sehr nervenaufreibent, wenn man nicht auschecken kann!

Eine tolle Zeit in traumhafter Natur.
Die Lage mitten im Reservoir, aber dennoch sicher. Die tollen Pirschfahrten und die äußerst freundlichen Menschen. Gutes Essen in schöner Atmosphäre.
Die Zelte waren recht luftdurchlässig.

A wonderful experience!
The whole experience was wonderful. The communal lodge facilities were excellent, with numerous dining location options, depending on weather. The meal choices were very good, with generous portions and delicious, beautifully presented food. The lounge bar area was very nice, with a wide range of drinks freely available. We made use of the pool area each day, which was also lovely. Our thatched accommodation was very spacious, beautifully furnished, with a huge four poster bed (with an electric blanket in situ, if needed) and had its own viewing platform, which was great. The highlight, however, was, of course, the game drives. We had the pleasure of driving out with two nature guides, Lenny and Rob. Both gentlemen were excellent, sharing their knowledge and seeking out the animals for us. We were very fortunate to see all of the Big 5 plus many more. It was a fascinating time and we had a wonderful stay.
Our accommodation had a slightly damp smell due to its shaded location, which was a little off-putting. There was an offer to provide a dehumidifier, but this didn't get followed through. To be honest, we were not in the room most of the day, so it wasn't a big deal.
