Schön gelegen, aber für das Gebotene definitiv zu teuer
Die Lage der Woodland Cabins war gut geeignet, um sowohl das nördlich gelegene Fort Williams, den südlichen Küsten-Abschnitt um Orban und v.a. den sehr nahe befindlichen Bereich um Glencoe zu erkunden. Die Cabin selber lag schön in einem kleinen Wäldchen.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war sehr enttäuschend, aber es gab/gibt eben zur Hauptreisezeit keine günstigeren Altenativen in der Nähe von Glencoe. Dennoch: Für so ein kleines Hüttchen im Wald, in der die 5. Person auch noch auf einer Schlafcouch nächtigen muss, war der Preis schon deutlich übertrieben…

CABAÑAS EN UN ENTORNO NATURAL
El propietario vino a vernos en cuanto llegamos y fue muy amable. La llave estaba en una cajita junto a la puerta La cabaña era bonita y muy confortable. Equipada con todo lo necesario. El entorno en plena naturaleza. Tienes privacidad e incluso un espacio exterior aunque no lo pudimos utilizar porque por la mañana nos ibamos a visitar lugares y cuando volviamos a media tarde ya llovia o hacia frio para estar o cenar fuera. La ubicación junto al puente que cruza el fiordo en dirección a Fort William y a muchos otros lugares para nosotros resultó perfecta
Habiamos leido en diferentes informaciones que habia una alta probabilidad de ver animales salvajes casi con solo mirar por las ventanas. Especialmente por las mañanas. Incluso marinos, como focas o marsopas, en el fiordo. El entorno está muy vallado y aunque el bosque es muy frondoso, no solo no vimos nada sino que nos pareció altamente improbable. Entre el terreno de las cabañas y el fiordo pasa la carretera, aunque si puedes pasar al otro lado por un camino
