Vero luxury immersa nella natura
La casa di Elizabeth e suo marito è da sogno. Immersa nella bellezza della natura di Skye, con una vista incredibile e una pace assoluta. L'arredamento è chic, per nulla sfarzoso ma coincidente con la mia aspettativa di "Luxury": anche le lenzuola erano di qualità e il letto comodissimo. All'arrivo due boccette di Whisky locale offerte per serate meditative guardando la bellezza circostante. È vero, non c'è la colazione servita (cosa ribadita più volte dalla proprietaria prima dell'arrivo) ma Elizabeth ci aveva lasciato nella stanza della colazione: macchina per il caffè, bollitore (anche per il latte), cereali e muesli, biscotti, porridge istantaneo e dolcetti vari. Avevamo fatto la spesa ma non saremmo comunque rimasti affamati.
Nulla, segnalo solo che a Carbost, come in tutta Skye) i servizi sono limitati, in paese c'è solo un pub (dove si mangia benissimo) e un ristorante molto chic ma molto caro. Suggerisco una piccola spesa preventiva per eventuali tramezzini. L'isolamento è parte del fascino in ogni caso :-)

Excellent information included with stay, the hosts were exceptional, and the location and building are beautiful.
The property is an act of love and the owners built it so well. The whiskey tasting was a nice addition and we loved the peaceful location. Would stay there again in a minute!
