Very disappointing experience and not recommended
Nothing to like there.
Unfortunately, our stay was ruined by an extremely unpleasant experience on the day of checkout. At around 10:23 AM, someone knocked very heavily on our door. When I opened it, he immediately started speaking loudly and told us, “You have 7 minutes to leave the property.” I politely explained that we were already packing and would be leaving within a few minutes, but he continued shouting. My young children were frightened and confused about what was happening. In all my years of travelling around the world, I have never experienced such behaviour from hotel staff or an owner. Travelling should be about relaxing, enjoying the experience and creating good memories, but this incident completely spoiled our mood for the entire day. There were also several other issues with the property: The hotel is difficult to reach, as you have to pass through a construction camp/site. The pictures displayed online appear to be outdated. Currently, the property is surrounded by construction and located on a very narrow street. The property was not very clean, including a dirty couch and washrooms. The TV was not working. The bedrooms are on an upper floor, accessed by a difficult ladder/stair arrangement that is not suitable for elderly guests or families with young children. The rooms are quite congested, with very uncomfortable beds and pillows. I could have overlooked most of these issues and still given the property an average rating of 5–6, as facilities and conditions can sometimes be tolerated when travelling. However, the way we were treated at checkout was completely unacceptable and made our experience much worse. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here, particularly for families with children.
