The place itself is set in a lovely wooded area of land, very quiet.
Stayed in the Woodland View cabin. The kettle was full of limescale so we couldn't use it and had to boil some water in a pan on stove to make hot drinks. The microwave was rusty and come with no instructions to use. Took us ages to work out the different settings. The fridge shelves were broken, had a fist mark in the door. There were no trays for any milk to go in either. The sofa's were very low, basically held together with black tape and uncomfortable to sit on. The laminate flooring had come apart in a few places and had sections throughout the cabin that were raised/bowed. The carpet in the hallway my mother tripped on due to it not being flat, it was worn down and come up in a few places. The on-suite shower wouldn't drain properly so we had to be careful how long we showered for so it didn't over flow. Even after we finished it took ages to drain properly and we found we had to use the other bath/shower room. There were cobwebs all around the place. In the light shades, on the walls etc.. The beds had yellow stains on, so did the pillows and bed sheets. One thing we were really annoyed at, as much as we love dogs, there was a yellow labrodor, it walked around freely. (Although signs say dogs on leads) Urinated up my car wheel twice and deficated where we parked our car. There were more older piles of poo where we had to park our car too. Even on our walk around the site, we come across several old and fresh piles of dog poo. The cabin was up a long steep hill, on site, it's gravelled throughout and has a number of deep pot holes going up. I was very worried about my tyres popping a few times and there's very little room to avoid them. We paid £333 for our 2 night stay. We won't be returning again. It gave such a good impression online, we were really looking forward to it. Its such a shame it wasn't up to basic standards.

Secluded, cosy, comfortable and private.
Everything was perfect, besides some wifi issues but it was nice to escape from the internet regardless in such a cosy property.
