    Overpriced and underwhelming

    The woods

    So many pages of rules that you only get after paying!. This was premium prices for unsatisfactory accommodation. Broken rusty fridge, same for the microwave. The beds were very old and disgusting. One had the foot board cut off.No mattress protector.. Settees uncomfortable. One hand towel between 2 people. Tiny worn out towels. Washing machine drawer full of mould. I have photos of all these issues. Not even hand soap provided in the toilets. You have to pay extra for everything. Logs we paid extra for were offcuts from woodworking.

    Stayed for 2 nights I went to Alton Towers with my family and was lovely to come back and relax in the hot tub, the beds

    The location and the scenery was beautiful

    There was nothing I didn’t like, it was beautiful

    This was a lovely property, it was disappointing to have an issue.

    There was enough space for everyone

    We had a problem with the hot water, after travelling in very hot temperatures for 6 hours with 5 children we discovered we had no hot water.

    All in all very nice, just lacking a few essentials.

    Very nice lodge in a lovely location.

    No hot water. No A/C. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable.

    Fantastic stay. Highly recommend

    It was really close to Alton towers. And was comfortable and a beautiful location

    Not enough fire starter was provided to start a single fire in the log burner. More than one roll of toilet paper in each toilet would be better
