    Stay made unpleasant by stench

    The host is very responsive. The location is great. The check in and check out were easy.

    The room had a foul odor or stench when we arrived. It smelled like feet or a dead rat. This ruined our enjoyment of the place. We let air circulate and used a lot of air freshener (thank goodness we had one with us) and it was alright after about an hour. But the stench did not go away in the bathroom. We suspect that there must be a dead rat in the exhaust vent. Also there was a lot of dust in the exhaust (which was almost falling off the ceiling) and aircon. The host should supervise cleaning better next time.
