Just okay...
The hotel was in a lovely area next to a church and pastures with a very good pub just down the road. There was a fridge in the room and a nice closet to hang our clothes.
The hotel room was in need of modernizing as it was clean enough, but very worn out. The bathroom was too small, especially the sink. It was a high step into the tub/shower without any hand rails. There was a window in the bathroom with a shade that didn't quite close all the way. The bed was so soft that it hurt our backs. The coffee machine didn't feel clean, so we didn't use it. The young lady who keeps the bar couldn't crack a smile. It made us uncomfortable. The rest of the staff were kind enough and helpful. We didn't eat breakfast, but I did peak into the room and saw that it was buffet style.

Very comfortable. A very pleasant stay.
I liked the location of the hotel. It's setting amidst the Green fields. The customer service was excellent.
Nothing ounstantly negative.

We love the hotel and will probably be back again next year for our 52nd anniversary of meeting at teacher training coll
Very good value for money and a beautiful hotel, which is why we came for the second year running for our college reunion. All of the staff were so friendly, courteous and helpful. Azu (?) our gorgeous receptionist was particularly lovely and so helpful.
We were a little disappointed with breakfast. The coffee machine was painfully slow and the coffee cold. I queued for about 10 minutes to use it. It was a half hour to the end of service, but things were running out and we had to ask for several things to be replenished. Such a shame, but overall it did not really spoil our stay

Pleasant stay
The hotel is nicely situated. It is lovely inside and kept clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and a nice room.
Bathroom had cracked tiles over bath near the shower that had been filled rather than replaced. Didn’t look very nice.
