    Fabulous location

Fabulous location, comfortable beds, lovely towels, greeted with lemon cake and a bottle of wine.

An overwhelming amount of rules and an inspection request from the host prior to our departure made us feel on edge. Not able to have a hot drink or breakfast in bed whilst on holiday was very disappointing.

Wyn Shiels was a beautiful holiday, let.. It was tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and well equipped. We were greeted by Karan, who talked us through important features of the property, having left us with a bottle of wine, milk, and a delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake. Just what we needed after a long journey. The bed was king-size and beautifully dressed. The shower room was modern, and the shower was one of the most powerful we have experienced. The hosts, Karan and Paul, were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Wyn Shiels is in a stunningly, beautiful setting surrounded by rolling Lakeland countryside. It was tranquil, peaceful, and very relaxing. We would certainly recommend the Hide Away.

We can't think of anything we didn't like!
