    Lodge was fine, but the Hoburne site and facilities disappointing

    The property was clean and spacious

    There was only seating in the lounge for 4 adults. Bare minimum of toilet paper, washing up liquid supplied. No cleaning products for kitchen surfaces. The main reason we booked was the outdoor heated swimming pool on site for the children. This was out of order for the whole week. No explanation or apology from the staff. This seriously affected the holiday. Staff at the bar, restaurant and leisure activities were poorly trained and unhelpful. Disappointed that you cannot access the pool facilities before the check-in time of 3pm unlike all hotels we visit.

    Nice and clean.

    The mattress was too bouncy and not comfortable. I had really bad back pain when I woke up.
