Wat een vriendelijk stel en wat een warm welkom. Gelogeerd in 2 kamers in hun dorpje. Tussen de plaatselijke bewoners. Christian kwam (als we er buiten zaten) iedere keer naar buiten als er dieren zaten (brul- en slingerapen, toekans, reigers etc). Ook heeft hij ons een avond meegenomen en hebben we schorpioenen gezocht met blacklights!
Het viel niet tegen, maar de reis erheen met de auto is wel een avontuur op zich, duurt best lang. Een volgende keer zou ik zeker overwegen om vanuit Sierpe met de boot erheen te gaan!

Beautiful location and wonderful hosts!
Cristián and Virginia are incredibly kind and welcoming. They really want to give you the best possible experience in their home, whether that is a home-cooked meal, help planning tours or activities, or just a good conversation to learn more about their family and life here. Breakfast was always delicious and an actual meal instead of something super light/continental style, which we appreciated, and Virginia was very accommodating in planning meal times around our tours. The beach was a very short walk away and a perfect place to meet up with the Drake Bay hiking trail to explore the forest and coastline. Thank you both for everything!
Virginia was so accommodating with meals and her food was a wonderful part of our stay. The only thing I could recommend to make it even better is to maybe ask guests if they are more interested in local Costa Rican plates or more American-style meals (or a mix). It was my fault I didn't communicate from the beginning that we really wanted as much local food as possible, as those meals were always our favorite and enhanced our experience so much.

The property was very clean and welcoming. Cristian and his family were incredibly kind and hospitable. The property is surrounded by rainforest, away from Drake Bay, making it the perfect place for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in nature.
