    For a late booking it worked out well for our purpose which was seeing family.

    Location was okay, but a good 15 minutes by foot to town. Large shower, fluffy towels, two bedrooms and solid sofa bed plus good sized TV. Families or those staying longer might find a dryer useful. Mainly warm, but I was cold on first morning, but individual radiators were effective when I got them to work especially as bathroom could be cold. There was both a coffee machine with coffee and chocolate capsules and a small cafetiere.

    Parking is good and flat easy to access, but unlike the inside, the outside is drab and view is suburban. However, access is good from M5 and to Cheltenham via Painswick road, but you need to get around Stroud when coming from London road (A419). You can also get quite quickly to some beautiful countryside (real Cotswolds) with roads north leading to Edge (Gloucester road), Painswick (scenic route to Cheltenham) and the Slad Valley ("Cider with Rosie").
