    Convenient but not an outstanding experience

    Location is ideal for The Cumbria Way. Good drying room. Pizza was nice as were the drinks from the bar, good choice available. Staff very friendly and chatty. nice atmosphere due to other travellers. Bunk beds creaked though bedding was nice. The building is nice and cosy with communal bar, dining room and kitchen for own use.

    For £80 I expected a better room, no chair, almost claustrophobic. Only place to sit was on the floor or bent double on the lower bunk. the bunks were up against the wall, the other side of which were the toilets so guess what we heard all night and early morning? showers had nowhere to sit yet plenty of space. The games room was really unusable being full of stacked chairs
