  Great seaside location, but the apartment does not match the comfort and quality shown in the photos

  The location is both a plus and a minus. On the positive side, the property is literally just a few steps from the sea, which is a huge advantage. It’s also very quiet and peaceful, with very few people around, making it a good place to relax and disconnect. The living room and kitchen area are generally fine and functional. I was also aware of the location before booking and had checked it on the map, so in that sense the setting itself was not a surprise.

  Unfortunately, the apartment itself would definitely benefit from a refresh. Everything feels quite old and worn, creating an overall sense of discomfort. The biggest issue was the bedroom. The bed is not comfortable, the bedding feels synthetic, poorly chosen, and constantly slips off. There is also a noticeable musty smell, including the duvet itself. The bathroom is also in poor condition — the bathtub, in particular, does not feel clean or inviting enough to use comfortably. The terrace view does not fully match the photos either. While there is a sea view, the uncovered balustrade means you also see a lot of visual clutter below, which takes away from the experience. The photos seem to show the apartment in its better days and are somewhat misleading compared to reality. There were also several practical issues: The fridge is quite loud and disruptive at night, disturbing the otherwise complete silence. The hairdryer was not working, which was inconvenient (although I did not report it, so it’s possible it could have been replaced). The oven knobs are completely worn out, making it impossible to see any markings — using it is purely guesswork. Overall, despite the peace and quiet, the lack of comfort — especially in the bedroom — overshadows the positives. Even in a quiet and beautiful location, good sleep is essential, and unfortunately, that was not the case here.
