The house is wonderful and unique, and it had everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The location itself was a bit away from the city center, so we had to use Uber services, although there is also a bus stop nearby.

The house is beautiful, clean, the staff is very responsive. The location is quiet, right in the middle of the town so you can reach all of the tourists spots easily. As many people mentioned the key pick up is a bit tricky as you have to travel from the train station by foot to pick up the keys and then take a taxi to the actual house. I would assume many families stay there so it makes it hard with children and all the luggage

Beautiful traditional house
Lovely traditional house, gardens were beautiful, shower was fantastic and lots of towels. Bag transportation was great, but expensive
Washing up liquid would have been nice, unsure why we had to check in elsewhere and then pay for bag transfer?

Une immersion japonaise bienfaisante.
L’espace, l’impression de vivre à la japonaise dans un quartier résidentiel et la proximité de la gare facilitant tous les déplacements car Kyoto est gigantesque.
Le seul mini point négatif est la proximité du passage des trains mais nous avons bien dormi quand même vu la fatigue de nos marches quotidiennes.
