My family and I had a wonderful weeks stay. Beach and family outings easily reached from the property. For stay at home days there was plenty of beautiful out door space to explore and enjoy.
We would recommend grips for underneath all rugs! Especially those on the downstairs wooden floors.

Cymru am Byth! A Gorgeous, Excellently-Located, Home-Away-From-Home, with the Best BBQ Spot Ever.
Yr Hen Feudy is a gorgeous, rambling (in the best sense of the word) home...it is beautifully converted/refurbished, and every nook and cranny of the house and grounds reveals new wonders, be they a cosy place to sit, read and chill in front of an open log fire, a spacious, well-equipped kitchen in which to meet, cook, socialise, and enjoy the space, and, additionally, take a walk down through the orchard to the estuary, and find a place to sit, imbibe some wine, stoke up the disposable BBQ, and Bob is your mother's brother. The location is perfect: far enough away from the abomination that is Barmouth (Y Bermo) (but well worth a sociological drop-in), and simply just bang smack in the centre of some of the UK's finest scenery.
The question here is, "What could have been better?" Frankly, nothing: Yr Hen Feudy is a lovely, homely home, situated at the apex of a collection of lovely places (Harlech, Portmeirion, Dolgellau and a long etcetera...) and the archaic toll bridge with a pub at the end has to be the creme de la creme. The only thing that could be better is that nearby Barmouth might, some day in the near future, be razed to the ground and reconstructed properly.
