    Best onsen in the area!

    The best onsen experience I've had! The staff was so polite and helpful! They say they only speak Japanese but they do try to help you with simple English! Don't let a small language barrier stop you from visiting the best onsen in the town!! The meal was lovely and filling and room was so beautiful and comfy we could have stayed there forever if we could have! We walked to the monkey park the morning we left and the owner even offered to drive us up there!

    Forget other Shibu Onsens. Come here instead! Warmth and Kindness are inherent with this place and its caretakers.

    It was a cozy, warm, and kind place. The owner’s family were lovely, inviting, and kind. The owner spoke very patiently with me and we shared movies that we were interested in. This place really is a labour of love. The breakfast, cooked by his family, is delicious and fills the soul. The onsen are as hot as you need (43degrees C) and the rooms were SO comfortable. Kindness and Warmth are what this place runs on. Forget Shibu Ryokans. Come here!

    My wife and I would be coming back to this place because we loved EVERYTHING.
