    Yumeji vintage villa is a charming machiya (traditional house) whose owner is adorable and gave us good advice on what to do in Kyoto. It is clean and well equipped.

    Classical "old Kyoto" house, very typical to taste the Japanese way of life. Apartments on two floors, kitchen and living room below, sleeping room upstairs: perfect for four people! Breakfast self-service provided (different types of bread, yogurth, tea, butter) provided by the staff (very kind!). Quite far from the center of the city, but well connected by bus and close to interesting places in northern Kyoto.
