    Amazing ryokan & perfect for a first experience

    Everything was amazing : the localisation next to the village, the staff that was very friendly and helpfull, the onsens that were clean, spacious and not crowded, the room that was huge, comfortable and with a nice view and the food that was so yummy

    Excellent Onsen hotel with good private Onsen, excellent food & wonderful staff

    The external appearance of the hotel is not as attractive as the other hotels near the Unzen Jigoku. The room with private Onsen is superb. The public Onsen is good. The hotel keys are wonderful, the 2 keys can stick together with magnets inside the keys so they can be carried together. The food served in dinner & breakfast is wonderful & in 3 days I think I have eaten every cuisine in fine Japanese dining. The hotel serves sashimi but as one of us would prefer cooked food, the substitute has been excellent as well. The hotel staff has been very friendly & helpful. We would like to thanks Miss Chihiro 千弘小姐 who has been with us for 3 days for her hospitality.

    地獄めぐりは良かった反面、 遠方景色が天気のせいもあり残念 私は平成新山出来る前、昭和60年にこの地を訪れているので、 北海道では昭和新山も見たし
