The whole property is decorated with tatami. Room is very spacious with great facilities and amenities. After 4 times traveling to Japan, I’d say this is the most authentic experiences I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend for people who is looking for something special.

    Nothing.

    Lovely ryokan experience.

No elevator but the staff help you to brig up your luggage.

An excellent place to heal the body and soul.

The room I stayed in was very large, tastefully decorated with a balance of old and modern Japanese style. The onsen has different kinds of water including milky, alkaline bath.

Getting there from Yamagata Station has only two options: car (taxi) or bus. If you go by bus, after you get off at the last stop, you have to walk up the hill to the end of the street.
