    Great place in Bacalar

    Our stay at Zayali was great. Self-checkin was convenient. The room was comfortable and clean. Towels smelled nice. There’s a shared kitchen. Some of the pans were a bit old but other than that it has everything you need. The shared pool with a hammock inside was perfect for a quick cooldown whenever at the hotel. Location is a couple of minutes walk to the first free municipal lagoon entrance. There’s another beautiful one further up the lagoon, which is about 25-30min walking distance. Bacalar is super safe, so we Welt comfortable walking home even at night.
