A comfortable base for easy access to the city centre and upper town
Apart from being a little smaller than we expected from the images, the accommodation was very comfortable and a nice fresh environment to be in. This proved to be important as the weather turned 3 days into our one-week stay and we spent more time indoors than we would have otherwise. The bed was firm but very comfy - better than our mattress at home - and the sofa was good too. The wraparound terrace is spacious. It's without a good view, although from the side it overlooks a sculptor's studio yard, which was interesting. We found the location great for accessing a local farmers' market (Thursday) and the upper town, which we recommend checking out for its views, castle and nice tavernas (there are buses for those who would find the climb too challenging). The west end, with its plentiful food markets and eateries, east end and seafront are also very accessible on foot. There are a couple of roads on an incline as you approach the property from downtown but we are in our 60s and found them very manageable. The hosts were responsive and kindly let us stay a couple of hours longer on our last day as our flight wasn't till 11pm. This made all the difference and was greatly appreciated. We were very happy with our choice for the rate we paid and I would recommend this apartment to future travellers.

eally enjoyed the place
We had an amazing stay in Thessaloniki and really enjoyed the place. The host provided us with free parking. The apartment is cozy, clean, and located within walking distance of the city center and the main attractions.
