    Location was great. Very near the metro station and Joy City mall. Lots and lots of food options in the mall

    Shortly before our arrival we were informed that the duplex unit we had booked was under maintence and they would place us in another bigger unit instead. We were disappointed as we really liked the looks of the duplex, but didn't see much of an issue. 1) the unit was extremely dusty. I had to clean a few rounds before I felt it was habitable 2) the airconditioner in the living room was not functional. We reported it, and were told they'd arranged for a maintenance personnel to fix it. We had to chase several times for the timing as to when maintenence would be done, and sent several reminders over 2 days before before the guy finally showed up. It was never fixed throughout our stay. Though we updated on the outcome of the maintenance, they never volunteered to do anything else to help. We were fortunate it was raining in Shanghai almost throughout our entire stay, hence the temperature was still relatively pleasant with neither fan nor airconditioner 3) We came home one night to a power trip. Owner gave vague instructions when we asked for location of the circuit breaker. It did not work.. Husband had to go to the security personnel downstairs to demand for a technician to assist. We sat in the dark for 45 mins before the technician appeared. He assumed we were the owners and berated us for this faulty unit which has power trips 2 to 3 times each month.
