  Fantastic apartment and top amenities, unfortunately ruined by missing proper invoice.

  The accommodation is outstanding! It is located in a very new building complex and is exceptionally well equipped; nothing is truly missing. The kitchen in particular leaves nothing to be desired and was extremely well stocked with all kinds of utensils and even some food items, as well as coffee and tea. A washing machine, a drying rack, and an elevator are also available. The bathroom was also very well equipped. Particularly noteworthy is the superbly functioning shower screen, an amenity that is by no means a given in Albania. The balcony offers a nice and pleasant view into the courtyard towards more distant buildings and the mountains surrounding Tirana. The price-performance ratio was great and absolutely fair. Unfortunately, the accommodation was no longer available for a repeat booking. Although the property is not located in the city center, it is still well situated for a pleasant stay, especially if you have a vehicle at your disposal. The self-check-in via a code system worked flawlessly, and the advance communication regarding arrival also went smoothly. That could only be topped if a corresponding check-in instruction were simply sent automatically in good time beforehand.

  The only real, but at the same time serious deficiency of this otherwise excellent accommodation is that no proper invoice was issued. Instead, only a booking confirmation from Booking.com was sent, which by no means meets the legal requirements for an invoice. Even prior to booking, the accommodation was contacted in writing and explicitly informed that an invoice was required because it was a business trip. This inquiry remained unanswered. During the cash payment on site, a clarifying discussion was unfortunately not possible because the staff responsible for check-in and receiving the money spoke no English at all. Afterward, the aforementioned Booking confirmation was indeed transmitted, but regrettably any further request for a proper invoice was ignored and no proper receipt was issued. Anyone traveling for business, relying on proof for tax reasons, or requiring receipts for potential legal matters is left completely in the lurch here. The persistent ignoring of legal requirements strongly gives the impression that taxes are meant to be evaded. Such behavior is unprofessional, and in this regard, one should promptly adapt to European standards. Direct payment processing via Booking would be desirable to make the entire process significantly less complicated for guests. The parking situation on site is not really easy, as everywhere in Tirana, for which the host of course cannot be blamed, but which should be kept in mind when arriving by car. A pity, because if the statutory duty to issue an invoice had been fulfilled, this would have been an unreservedly positive review. Should the receipt still be provided retrospectively, this will naturally be reflected in an updated overall rating.
