Rietje, the host was very accommodating and friendly even locating special food for our dog Kyp. She spoke very good English too. The summer house is really lovely to spend time in and I honestly think the photo's don't do it justice as at night with the lamps on it really is very cozy and all furnishings and fittings have been really well chosen. It's a very well crafted wooden summer house with under floor heating, open plan kitchen living room, bathroom and separate bedroom. Lots of parking on street nearby and it was in a very nice, safe and friendly neighbourhood. The best beaches are a 5 min drive away south or 15 min walk starting with Strandslag Duinoord and continuing through Stransdslag Julianadorp. Huisduinen itself whilst having people swimming off its coast is mainly a tarmac slope into the sea with the awesome Laangejap lighthouse looming overhead throwing out its impressive beams at night. Also worth travelling to Texel island on the ferry which is really easy to book.

Schnuckelig
Schnuckeliges kleines Häuschen auf einem privaten Grundstück, sehr ruhig gelegen in Huisduinen und fußläufig vom Meer und Strand entfernt. Parken gratis vorm Haus möglich. Sehr freundliche hilfsbereite Gastgeberin.
Eher für 2 Personen geeignet. Unser 13 Jähriger hat sich aber auf der Couch geholfen und auch gut geschlafen. Wobei wir aber auch wussten, dass wir nur zum Schlafen und Frühstücken im Häuschen waren. Dieses ist vielleicht zu beachten, falls man im Frühjahr, Herbst oder Winter dahin verreist. Für uns war es echt okay im Hochsommer.

Auf Grund der schlechten Sauberkeit mussten wir leider nach einem Tag wieder abreisen...
Die Nähe zum Strand ist gut.
Die Sauberkeit ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig, Silberfischchen im Bad, fremde Haare im Schlafzimmer auf auf den Möbeln, das Bett und die Schlafcouch sehr staubig.

Süßes Häuschen mit viel Natur im kleinen Garten
Es ist ein schönes kleines Häuschen mit ausreichend Platz für 3 Personen und Hund. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich. Obwohl sie auf dem selben Grundstück gleich nebenan wohnt, war sie sehr diskret und wir haben sie die ganze Woche kaum gesehen, so dass wir viel Privatsphäre hatten und den Außenbereich ganz ungestört nutzen konnten. Das Häuschen ist super ausgestattet, auch ein Toaster und ein Combigerät Mikrowelle und Grill sind vorhanden. Es ist ruhig gelegen, der Strand ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen und hat keine Beschränkungen für Hunde. Ein Ausflug auf die nahe Insel Texel ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Da sie doch recht groß ist, am besten mit dem Auto.
Uns hat alles gut gefallen.
