    The lodge was in a beautiful area with unbelievable views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The house and braai area was perfectly cleaned daily. We hiked and ran on the amazing trails and we really did not want to go home.

    The roads to and from the lodge were not so good if you travel in a sedan. The wifi didn't work and the signal was poor.

    Warm Hospitality in a Beautiful Mountain Setting

    We had a wonderful stay at Zungha Lodge. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very well equipped. The hosts were exceptionally caring and thoughtful, checking in with us every morning and evening to make sure we had everything we needed. The open-plan living area with its huge fireplace created a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and there was always plenty of firewood available. The fireplace was meticulously cleaned every morning. The bathrooms were a real highlight—luxurious hot bath supplied by a gas geyser, spacious walk-in showers with modern fittings, and everything was squeaky clean. The bedrooms were comfortable, with quality linen that ensured a great night's sleep. The absolute highlight of our stay was the beautiful hiking through the veld and up the mountain. The scenery is breathtaking and makes Zungha Lodge a perfect destination for anyone who loves nature and the outdoors.

    The only thing we missed was a microwave, although we managed perfectly well using the gas stove. The roads leading to the lodge are also in poor condition, so it's worth driving slowly and carefully on the way there.
