    Very comfortable stay in 'quirky' hotel

    An interesting old brick 'manor house' . Owner was very helpful and attentive. We could choose which twin room we wanted. Our chosen room was clean, warm and quiet. Bathroom was also clean and bright with good facilities. Plenty of tea and coffee provided. Didn't have breakfast but breakfast room looked nice. Easy walking distance to Reading centre.

    Comfortable, clean and warm and met my needs for an overnight stay perfectly.

    I was happy to stay overnight here as I was in Reading for a function. Easy access to the town centre by bus (& taxi for the return) My booked room was upgraded ,( thank you) . It was warm, comfortable with a very good shower. Tea and coffee making facilities were well stocked and there was good hanging space for clothes and I noticed an ironing board .(Didn't need to use it ) I didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on that.

    nothing major however the fan in the bathroom was noisy
