  No se cumplió con lo acordado, no otorgaron tour, ni vehículo. Nos obligaron a salir a las 10 de la mañana, teniendo vuelo a las 16.00hrs. Poco criterio. Pésima atención, jamás llamaron para saber si había alguna necesidad como estufa. Ya que hizo frío. Mal educados.

  Súper recomendable

  Elegí el alojamientos para mis papás de 70 años. Quedaron fascinados con la isla y la amabilidad de los anfitriones, les organizaron e hicieron los tour y los orientaron durante toda su estadía. Sin duda volverán a la isla y se volverán a alojar con Kevin y su madre. Gracias!

  Fabulous place to stay and tour for a once in a lifetime trip.

  We had a fantastic time at Cabañas Kitai. The place was walking distance to everything in Hanga Roa and the kitchen meant we could self cater as well as go out. Kevin’s tour was outstanding, so fascinating to learn the history of the island and the Rapa Nui people from a descendant of the Miru tribe. Bonus, he has super friendly cats!

  A severe storm meant we were trapped on the island due to cancelled flights. Honestly the best place to be stranded!

Kitai Cabaña is perfectly situated just a 7-minute walk from the beach, right in the heart of Hanga Roa — steps away from the town center, the local market, and vibrant traditional dance shows. You're in the middle of everything that makes Rapa Nui special, without any of the noise. 🌿 The atmosphere is warm and relaxed. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. It's the kind of place where you actually want to slow down and soak in the island's energy. 🗺️ Kevin is an absolute gem. The owner's son, Kevin, is one of the most knowledgeable and personable guides we've ever had the pleasure of traveling with. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Rapa Nui, he brought the island's history, culture, and legends to life in a way no guidebook ever could. Our full-day tour with Kevin was the highlight of the entire trip — insightful, fun, and deeply authentic. 🙏 But what truly sets Kitai Cabaña apart is the extraordinary kindness of the family. During our stay, a Category 1 hurricane swept through Rapa Nui, knocking out power and cell service island-wide and grounding all flights. In the middle of this chaos, Kevin and his mother didn't hesitate — they welcomed us to stay an extra day, made sure we were safe, comfortable, and cared for. That level of genuine human warmth is rare anywhere in the world. We would wholeheartedly recommend Kitai Cabaña to every traveler heading to Easter Island.   A fascinating stay with a richly informed host.

  Kevin meet us at the airport with a sign. He also drove us back to the airport. The accommodation was clean. Everything worked. Kevin gave an excellent tour.
