Buffet breakfast was amazing and staff were very attentive, and the location was great - you are in the town centre and close to multiple gondolas. Also plenty of easy parking out front.
As we visited during the summer, the sauna was closed. Our room also had an unusual smell when we first arrived, but it dissipated over the course of the stay.

Excellent, would recommend
Ciasa Verena was a beautiful place to stay. The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms feel newly refurbished and were very spacious, and the location was fantastic with amazing views from the hotel itself and a very short distance from hikes and cable cars. The breakfast was also exceptional every day. They provide the option to purchase a packed lunch for hiking too, which was brilliant - they gave a generous selection of sandwiches, fruit, and drinks wrapped up and dropped to our room the evening before. Overall would thoroughly recommend.
Unfortunately the sauna isn’t open during summer months which was a shame as we’d have loved to try it after a long rainy day of hiking!
