  Desilusión

  Excelente ubicación , habitación amplia y edificio bonito

  La limpieza . Al llegar notamos que la limpieza era muy justa . Al ir a descansar después de comer notamos que las sábanas no estaban limpias , parecían usadas y había pelos en la zona de las almohadas e incluso en los pies . Avisamos por WhatsApp al contacto que teníamos y la opción que nos dieron fue limpiar al dia siguiente. Les indicamos que si nos facilitaban sábanas limpias las cambiaríamos nosotras mismas . Nos indicaron dónde podíamos cogerlas y las cambiamos nosotras . Tampoco había cafetera , en una parte de la habitación que comunicaba con el baño había una cuna de viaje sin funda tirada en una esquina y la ducha no drenaba , se inundaba el baño . En compensación nos dieron unos vales de desayuno el día de salida que es de agradecer pero que tuvimos también que reclamar porque nos indicaron que nos los habían dejado en la habitación pero al llegar no estaban . En general , es buen alojamiento pero está descuidado en atención y limpieza . La verdad es que con la puntuación que tenía en booking esperábamos más.

  A let down

  -Room is spacious and well decorated -central location -Female staff who was anonymous was helpful in sorting a booking error with payment.

  -Aggressive and intimidating staff -intimidated by anonymous (likely Roger) staff over whatsapp for asking to put luggage in a store room instead of an unsecure communal hallway at 100 euro/night. Threatened with calling the Police. Just farcical. Spoilt our last day as had to lug luggage around for the day. -Fishy/sewer smell in the hallway that makes you retch -No staff present despite 4 star rating and 4star prices. You have to book a time to check in and you have to fit around their schedule. You never see them again and you communicate to anonymous people on whatsapp. Santa Chiara an actual 4 star hotel is just 10 euros more, regretted not staying there. -Paid 10 euros for station pickup bit dont tell you that you get dropped off outside the old town and you have to walk the rest. Not great if you come with elderly parent who has mobility problems!

  Heerlijke locatie en ruime kamer.

  De locatie in het oude centrum. Alles op loopafstand. Vlak bij een leuk pleintje met wat restaurantjes. De drie persoonskamer was erg ruim.

  De geur in de hal beneden en (na regen) in de lift. Je ruikt het op meer plaatsen in Lecce, waarschijnlijk omdat de gebouwen zo oud zijn. Op de kamer ruik je helemaal niets, dus dat is geen enkel probleem. Verder liep de douche niet goed door.

  Great location, but a little run down with inaccurate photos and description.

  The location was perfect - directly in the historic center and close to everything. It was not loud at all either. The bed was comfortable, too. Staff was friendly upon check in.

  The photos and the description did not match what we selected on the Booking site. The photos showed an extra room for the bed area and a separate dining table. It also indicated that there was a kitchen/kitchenette. We did not receive any of that. The espresso machine was broken and held together by a dish rag, no bottle water provided (I am positive about this), coffee, shampoo, body wash, etc was provided. The shower ran hot and cold throughout our entire stay. It would just randomly switch to hot and cold throughout your shower so you would have to step away from the water until it got hot again. Walls could use some paint as it was scuffed throughout the entire apartment. We would not stay here again.
