    Bestens ausgestattetes und zugleich sehr gemütliches, authentisch englisches Haus (auch im Detail: z.B. sehr viele Haken zum Aufhängen, Ganzkörper-Spiegel, ...), alles sehr praktisch. Sehr netter und unkomplizierter Kontakt zur Vermieterin. Achtung: Minehead hat viel zu bieten, am Sonntag-Abend aber bekommt man ab 6 p.m. fast nirgendwo mehr etwas zu essen. Es bleiben dann nur ein chinesischer Take-away und ein Inder. Wirte und Bedienungen in den Restaurants und Pubs sind sämtlich sehr aufmerksam und nett. Zu empfehlen ist die "Rabatt-Karte" des National Trust für Ausflüge in der wunderschönen Umgebung. Unsere Ausflugs-Highlights: Dunster Castle (unbedingt die Kitchen-Tour buchen), der South West Coast Path / Valley of the Rocks (auch für Menschen, die nicht ganz so gut zu Fuß sind), Lynton und das Fine-Dining-Restaurant "The Reeves" in Dunster (außerordentlich gutes und verhältnismäßig günstiges "Harvest Supper" im Herbst, verdient meiner Meinung nach mindestens einen halben Michelin-Stern).

    We arrived slightly earlier than stated, messaged Catherine who responded quickly to say it was no problem. Great location, easy walking distance to supermarkets, local shops, pubs and seafront. Beautiful property with everything you need provided. Clean and spacious with a lovely outdoor seating area, comfy beds and plenty of towels provided. Would definitely stay again whilst visiting family.

    We had a good time.

    Location was fine and even parking was not bad. Self catered so proximity to shops was handy.

    Window blinds were not very user friendly.
