Great Economy Hotel Close to Metro
This is exactly what a good economy hotel should be! It was clean, well maintained, comfortable, great location, and CC friendly, helpful staff. It is certainly not a luxury hotel, but if you set your expectations properly for economy accommodations, I think you’ll be quite pleased with your stay. Most importantly, the hotel was clean and safe. The door was secure, it’s in a good neighborhood. The mattress was just the right softness, and there were 3 different types of pillows so I could choose the type that worked best for me. These were not luxury accommodations, but they were well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent if you plan to take metro - you can walk along the W&OD Trail (a bike/walking trail) for about 7 minutes to get there. Breakfast isn’t impressive, but it’s adequate for an economy hotel: 4 or 5 choices of cereal with milk, fruit (apples), bagels and cream cheese, juice & coffee. I appreciated the fresh coffee with 3 different flavored creamer options. The TV worked perfectly (often a problem in hotels I’ve stayed at). Water pressure in the shower was great. I’d definitely stay here again if I need an economy hotel in the area.
Be aware if you’ll be taking metro that the trail between metro and the hotel isn’t lit at night. It seems quite safe, but is dark. Also be aware that there are a bunch of steps to go from sthe trail to metro, which could be hard to navigate with luggage.

Good location but issues
Great location. The room was clean and the staff was nice.
My #1 issue was the TV did not work. It would come on but couldn't get off the home page. I reported the problem and a work order was put in but the next evening nothing had been done. I was told this had been a common problem, so you would think they would have fixed it. So I spent about an hour online and using AI and finally got it to work on my own, but missed game 5 of the playoff. Also the fridge wasn't cold when I got there and the temp knob was missing, I was able to turn the nub where the knob should have been but no idea what temp I was setting it on so my pop froze and exploded all over the fridge. A working TV and working fridge should not be too much to ask, especially when the staff knows this has been an ongoing issue

Must stay. Will always check here first in area.
friendly staff, 10 min walk to metro train. VERY clean. room was spacious and exceeded expectations. I come back to the area every October and will be looking to stay here again.
the doors. they were very heavy and stingy. i actually had to swing them open for the bathroom and room.
