A Short Stay in a Tiny Apartment
The host was friendly and helpful, though a bit hard to reach via AirBnB email while I was still in the US. Once I called, all was well, though I must say that I expected to be met at the apartment. This was not a large problem since I'm quite Familiar with Florence and speak enough Italian to be comfortable.
The apartment was advertised as small, so I should not have been surprised. Had it been tiny and bright, or tiny and overlooking a garden, or even tiny and away from the street, all would have been well. But it was tiny and dark, with a single barred window at street level. Putting all of those things together, I left after one night and found another place to stay--six days, I think. This meant, of course, that since I had paid in advance, nothing was refunded.

The accomodation is perfectly located in the city and we enjoyed our communication with the host. The room was well equipped. And it was quite during the nights.
Because of 0 floor location it was pretty dark and cold inside, although the temperature outside was above +25 and it was sunny. The matress and pillows are too soft and uncomfortable. The shower space orgainised in a strange manner. I was fine with that, but my wife was not:)

The location was very good and the bed comfortable. You have all you need in this tiny apartment.
It was quite cold at night, even with air conditioning open, especially in the bathroom.

Exceptional
Small but very cute apartment, perfect for a solo traveller. The bathroom is not very spacious with the shower and the toilet being in the same space -might get tricky in case of two guests but for me it wasn't problematic. Everything in the apartment as desribed and shown on the photos. Walking distance to major attractions but despite its convenient location not too loud at night. The host was super nice and helpful, shared some useful tips and recommendations for the visit.
