The rooms are very historical, tall vaulted ceilings with frescos that added a lot of atmosphere to our stay. It was a lot of fun not to be in your ordinary modern hotel room. Blerina, her daughter and Arca were all very communicative, friendly and helpful! Would be very happy to return!

Beautiful restored monastery. Very quiet and private. Great convenient location to walk to sights but not in the crowded tourist area. Very large room. Good storage for luggage. The bathroom is smallish but clean with a good shower and water pressure. The manager is very helpful and easy to contact and communicate with. There’s no breakfast on the premises but there’s a lovely little bar (coffee, good pastries) just a few steps across the street..
No electric outlets in bathroom. Be aware there’s no one on the premises after 7pm. You enter the premises with a door code. There’s about eight rooms in the facility, very private and quiet; you most likely will not encounter any of the other guests. The ceilings are very high and the AC can only cool down to a certain level. But there’s a fan in the room which kept the room comfortable when I was there in later September. I don’t know what it would be like in the heat of summer. My room’s window faced the street and I couldn’t seem to completely block out the light from a street lamp. But I used a sleep mask and that worked fine.
