A lovely period property
Perfect for a short term stay. A real bonus was the milk, cakes and tea making facilities left for us. After a long day of travel and activity it was great to have a relaxing afternoon tea. A lot of extra things such as paper towels meant it was easy to make a meal.
Steep staircase, but we managed by leaving heavy cases downstairs. It really wasn’t a problem as there was plenty of space in the lower floor.

A wonderfully relaxing experience
I loved the house! The beds were super comfortable. The hosts welcomed us with cakes. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We had a back garden to enjoy. The location was excellent too
Maybe a warning about the very steep stairs to the first floor.

Very nice!
We were greeted by a box of cakes - my husband's reputation must have preceded him! We were NOT greeted by the ubiquitous holiday home A4 folder of rules and instructions on how to behave! Yay! We were very relieved to be able to leave our elderly dog home to sleep whilst we went for walks/lunch. The house was a nice size, airy - despite the lovely hot summer, and equipped enough. Very close to the beach (photo from upstairs), nice walks, sights and nice cafes. A quiet town and friendly folk!
Parking is at a premium and we have quite a long car. We found a spot at the end of the road but it was a schlepp with an immobile dog and all our stuff, and even just to keep an eye on the car or pop back for forgotten things. We didn't want to chance losing our spot as cars never really seemed to leave. This was annoying.
