Been before and will definitely return.
Good location, tasteful decor, well equipped, comfortable beds, warm, clear instructions and information.
A small point - for a 4 night stay an extra towel each would have been nice.

Comfortable Stay at Hygge House
Very well appointed and clean property. Very comfortable and tastefully furnished. Short walk from the town centre, albeit up a steep hill (like most properties in Matlock). Some local facilities in the immediate vicinity, including a couple of nice tap rooms, a small pizzeria, and a sandwich bar. We would not hesitate to stay at Hygge House again.
The courtyard is small and hasn't got any views. Didn't matter to us as we were not planning to sit outside.
