  A green oasis of tranquility, ideal for exploring the surrounding area, rich in art and culture

  The “Il Borghetto” agritourism property, accessible via an unpaved road for the last 200 meters, is situated in a pleasant and very peaceful setting nestled among the hills of Umbria—accessible via an unpaved road for the last 200 meters but just a few minutes’ drive from Todi. It consists of several housing units that are well separated from one another, and there’s also a swimming pool with a large lawn—which, unfortunately, was already closed due to the late season, but which is certainly a significant bonus in the summer. We stayed in the two-bedroorooms unit “La Lepre,” located above the reception area. The rooms are spacious and bright, and we felt as if we’d been transported back in time to our grandmother’s house, since the sturdy, functional furnishings consist of pieces from a bygone era that exude a touch of nostalgia. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and the bathroom—with a shower equipped with a curtain—was quite spacious, complete with towels and personal hygiene products. The spacious kitchen features a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a gas stove, and a fireplace; however, the kitchen is a bit basic in terms of equipment: it has the essentials, but it would be helpful to have, for example, an electric water kettle and perhaps even a full oil & vinegar dispenser and some sugar, as we’ve found in similar accommodations. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi. Beautiful view on Todi an the sourrondings from the room windows. The site is an ideal as a base for exploring central-southern Umbria: Todi is just a few minutes away, and Orvieto, Spoleto, and Terni—as well as Spello, Bevagna, and Montefalco—are all less than an hour’s drive away. Ask the friendly Mr. Ugo for recommendations; he’ll suggest the best places and routes to get there, as well as where to find local cuisine and enjoy a good meal!

  No negative points to report. Since it was the end of the season, a few minor signs of wear and tear left by careless guests are inevitable, but these are small details that didn’t bother us.

  Un angolo di pace e confort

  Bella struttura con camere accoglienti e arredate con grande cura e stile. Ampio bagno. È un po' lontana da Todi ma gode di un panorama fantastico. Ottima colazione con cornetti freschi, torte e piccola dotazione salata. I titolari sono molto gentili e prodighi di informazioni sul territorio.

  Ottima posizione per visitare le zone principali dell'Umbria. Ugo e sua moglie sono stati super accoglienti e il borghetto è un piccolo angolo di paradiso nelle colline umbre.
