Das Reihenhaus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße in Thirsk. Fußläufig sind der Marktplatz sowie einige Sehenswürdigkeiten in der kleinen Marktstadt gut zu erreichen. Zum Bahnhof braucht man ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß. Es gibt aber auch Uber mit denen man schneller von A nach B kommt. Das Haus selber ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es ist überwiegend polsternder und Geräusch dämmender Teppichboden verlegt. Das bringt eine gewisse Gemütlichkeit. Als Hausstauballergikerin (wie bei mir der Fall) kann dies allerdings von Nachteil sein. Auch lag anfänglich ein leichter Zigaretten-Geruch in der Luft. Vielleicht war dies eine Hinterlassenschaft von den Besuchern vor uns. Nach mehrmaligem Lüften ging dieser aber glücklicherweise weg. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und auch die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich in der Kommunikation.
Die Tatsache, dass es anfänglich nicht ganz so gut gerochen hat. Dies ging aber mit Lüften wie beschrieben weg.

The location is a few minutes walk from the town centre, yet in a quiet residential area. David & Annie went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant and hassle free as possible. including providing a wide range of essential. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped and hard to fault. It is somewhere we can happily recommend.

Great location, central to our needs ( Thirsk race course) Easy walk to the town. Supermarkets 5 minutes walk. And the weather was on our side 😊 Lovely birthday weekend and a lovely bottle of processco in the fridge 🍾 Lots of essentials in the kitchen, milk, tea, coffee condiments. Dishwasher
There is nothing to dislike everything was perfect 👌
