  Location, off the central Square.

  We were disappointed that the style, charm, design, age and luxury of the two bedroom apartment we were given was not as we had expected, or as represented by many of the pictures on the website. Our accommodation whilst clean and extremely spacious, was poorly furnished, very poorly lit and on the third floor of flat complex. The communal areas were poorly/ not always lit. The stairwell contained items of discarded kitchen equipment ( a cooker and fridge). We were not as expected in an historic area of Lecce, but above a couple of bars and hence the noise from these and the various neighbours in the block was troublesome. Breakfast was available a short walk (3mins) from the flat. Staff varied from pleasant to perfunctory, although not particularly welcoming. Lecce is beautiful we simply didn't get what we were expecting.

  Good location close to the major sights. Two big bedrooms. Good breakfast - at the Miro cafe 200 metres away.

  No coffee. One bedroom was towards a side street with bars and people walking by in the evening and workers early morning.

  Peut mieux faire

  La situation géographique, dans le centre historique. Proche de la basilique, on peut tout faire à pied.

  Le bruit de la rue tard le soir, musique, et tôt le matin. Le 2ème matin, après avoir commandé notre breakfast (nous étions 5), l'un de nous n'a carrément pas été servi....La veille au soir, nous avions réservé pour 20h pour 5 (sur le site avec acceptation de notre réservation) et quand nous sommes arrivés, plus de place, obligés de dîner dehors sur une table de 4. Il ne sert donc à rien se réserver pour le restaurant.

  Location and was clean

  The bathroom is long and narrow, you knock into things as you walk down. My main problem was how we were treated when going for breakfast and dinner in the Miro Bistro I had hoped as staying in their accommodation that we would be treated as part of the family sadly this was lacking. The first breakfast even though Bistro was quite empty we were told to sit on a corner table in the wine area with nothing but a wall to stare at and we really got forgotten and had to chase up staff so we could get some of the items ordered. We booked dinner for 8.30 pm (written in book) at the Bistro one night. I asked if we could have a table near the window. When we went down were confronted by the person whom I booked with asking if we had a booking. I stated we had and had booked it with you. We were asked to sit in 2 chairs. About 10 mins later we were taken to a corner table one seat of which had narrow access. After a further 15 mins menus were brought and order taken. A while later we got the 2 glasses of wine that were ordered, but not the water so I had to politely chase up the water. Finally about 9.10 the first course arrived. I had to politely request knife and forks that had no been provided. Later my wife received her 2nd course. Mine came a couple of minutes later it was placed in front of me without any comments. Sadly my food was slightly cold and the Octopus slightly tough and rubbery At no time were we asked by staff how our meal was. When paying the bill I did not mention any of the problems we had. However I comment that my Octopus was not cooked correctly as it was rubbery, the waiter didn't seem pleased. Just saying he would have a word with the chef So instead of feeling as though we were part of the family, we felt like we were an intrusion
