12 out of 10 and the perfect base for exploring Newcastle and the Mournes.

Super comfortable, impeccably clean and the hosts have thought of everything. The beds were great and the towels were deliciously thick, large and fluffy. The shower in the ensuite was compact but delivered nice hot water with good pressure (not always the case in many other places to stay in this country). The hosts were attentive and helpful giving us advice about some local hikes and there were plenty of information leaflets in the house if you were looking for further inspiration. Internet and smart TV was great and the kitchen well stocked with appliances and all the usual kitchen things you would need. The property was well located and it was a short walk to the Lidl and the main promenade and beach. As a hiker Newcastle and this property were an excellent base to explore the Mournes and other local walks.

    Nothing.

A very warm comfortable home and we enjoyed our stay very much

The house was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. It felt just like home from home

We had a lovely stay here, would stay again.

It had everything we needed and in a great location. Newcastle is a lovely area with lots of nice places to eat within a walkable distance from the house.

One of the things that drew me to the property was the wood burning stove but unfortunately it had just need added so we couldn’t use it as plaster was still drying out.
