  Apartment overbooked. Booking fault.

  Unfortunately, I never had the chance to stay in this apartment because it was overbooked due to a booking management issue. I only discovered this after arriving in Tirana, which put me in a very difficult situation and left me at risk of having no accommodation at all. To be fair, the owner was kind enough to share my contact details with other landlords in an attempt to help. However, the alternatives I found were more expensive, less clean, and located much farther from the city center than the apartment I had originally booked. What made the situation even worse is that I had to accept an alternative accommodation at the last minute. The payment for this replacement accommodation was made in cash, outside the Booking.com platform, and I was not provided with any receipt or proof of payment. As a result, I am unable to claim reimbursement for the difference in price through Booking.com, despite having paid significantly more than originally planned. This caused me a direct financial loss in addition to the inconvenience and stress created by the overbooking.For this reason, I believe it is unfair that I am asked to rate a property where I was never able to stay. The overbooking was not my fault, yet I experienced significant inconvenience, additional costs, and unnecessary stress upon arrival. Moreover, this situation also affected my Booking.com loyalty progress, as I lost the opportunity to reach Level 3 of the Genius program. I would consider revising or removing this review only after receiving appropriate compensation and having my loyalty status restored.

  Lokalizacja obiektu, wygodne łóżko, pralka na wyposażeniu.

  W opisie wyposażenia obiektu było kilka rzeczy, których na miejscu nie zastaliśmy. Suszarka do włosów była, ale niesprawna, przez cały wyjazd nie miałam jak wysuszyć włosów, swojej suszarki nie zabrałam skoro napisane było, że jest na wyposażeniu. Brak kawy, herbaty, brak ręczników papierowych, brak mydła do mycia rąk i żelu pod prysznic. Na stronie nie było informacji, że płatność musi być uiszczona gotówką, nie zabrałam ze sobą na tyle gotówki, żeby zapłacić za apartament, myślałam że płatność zostanie pobrana z karty. Fajnie jakby taka informacja była wysyłana wcześniej. Brak kontaktu w dniu przyjazdu z informacją o miejscu pobrania klucza do apartamentu i kodu. Dopiero jak się upomniałam jadąc do obiektu w taxi przesłano mi wiadomość.

  The room itself was excellent value for money, with a comfortable bed and couch, although the bathroom felt somewhat cramped.

  The apartment entrance and the passageway leading to the unit were disappointing, mainly because of the overall atmosphere. Including photos of the building exterior, entrance, and passageway in the listing would help guests make a more informed decision and set clearer expectations before arrival.
