The location is very good, walking distance to many attractions and train station near by. Staff was friendly, but service is average. The interior is interesting but no laundry facilities, tv,wardrobe. We couldn't have an Air-conditioning on because the air blow straight to the bed in your face.

Staff was amazing and more than accommodating. Style and vibes were so different than a normal hotel in such a great way (brutalist architecture paired with amazing design/art). Hotel is at the very beginning of the walkable Main Street of shops which leads to Gion district. Also super close to Nishiki market. Cannot recommend more!
